Privacy Policy
This explains what information we process when you use our website, who processes it on our behalf, and what you can ask of us.
Data controller
KosmetiKos Elisabeth AS, org. no. 928 059 243, Johs Høegs vei 3, 8160 Glomfjord, Norway. Reach us at post.kosmetikos@gmail.com or +47 75 75 06 90.
When you get in touch
This website has no contact form. If you get in touch it happens by email or phone, and we process whatever you choose to tell us. We use it only to reply and to follow up on your appointment. We do not add it to any customer register on the website.
Booking
Appointments are booked through Timma, a separate booking system we use. Our booking page displays Timma inside the website, but what you enter goes to Timma and is processed in their system. Timma is the processor for that information, and their own terms and privacy rules apply to the booking itself.
Cookies and analytics
We use Google Analytics to see how the website is used, such as which pages people visit and roughly how many come by. We use it to make the site better, not to identify individuals.
None of it starts until you press "Accept" in the consent banner. Press "Decline" and no tracking script is loaded at all. You can change your mind at any time by pressing "Cookies" at the bottom of the page. Your IP address is anonymised.
Who we share information with
We never sell your information and we do not share it for marketing. To run the website we use a few providers that process data on our behalf:
- Timma – appointment booking
- Google Analytics – statistics, only if you have consented
- Netlify – website hosting
- Google Fonts – the typefaces on the site load from Google
Some of these process data outside the EEA.
How long we keep it
Emails and messages are kept for as long as we need them to look after you as a client. Information tied to an appointment is stored in Timma. Google Analytics statistics are aggregated and are not linked to you personally.
Your rights
You have the right to see the information we hold about you, to have anything incorrect put right, and to ask for it to be deleted. You can also withdraw a consent you have given. Email us and we will sort it. If you believe we are handling information wrongly, you can complain to Datatilsynet, the Norwegian Data Protection Authority.
